PRIVACY POLICY · BADUKU LEKKA WEBSITE

Last updated: 31 Oct 2026

In short: we never ask for your name, phone or email. No cookies for visitors. Your IP address is not stored. We only count, anonymously, which pages and buttons are used, so we know which videos and checklists help. We never sell or share data.

What we count

• ಪೇಜ್ ವಿಳಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಯ · the page you opened and the time
• ನೀವು ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಂದಿರಿ (ಸೈಟ್ ಹೆಸರು ಮಾತ್ರ, ಉದಾ: google.com, instagram.com) ಮತ್ತು ಲಿಂಕ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ utm ಟ್ಯಾಗ್ · where the visit came from (the site name only, e.g. google.com) and any utm tag in the link
• ದೇಶ (ಉದಾ: India), ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಅಥವಾ ಡೆಸ್ಕ್‌ಟಾಪ್, ಬ್ರೌಸರ್ ಭಾಷೆ · country (not city), mobile or desktop, browser language
• ಯಾವ ಲಿಂಕ್ ಒತ್ತಿದ್ರಿ: YouTube, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, ವೀಡಿಯೋ ಕಾರ್ಡ್, ಕ್ಯಾಲ್ಕುಲೇಟರ್ ಬಟನ್ · which link you tapped (YouTube, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, a video card, the calculator button)
• PDF ಡೌನ್‌ಲೋಡ್: ಯಾವ ಫೈಲ್, ಯಾವ ಪೇಜ್‌ನಿಂದ · PDF downloads: which file, and from which page of this site

Known bots and crawlers are not counted.

How we count unique visitors

So that one person opening two pages counts as one visitor, the server mixes a random value that changes every day (a daily “salt”) with your network address and browser name and turns them into a short scrambled code (a one-way hash). Only that code is stored; the IP address itself is never written down. The daily salt is deleted after 2 days, so after that nobody, including us, can work out whose code it was or link your visits across days.

If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, no code is made for you at all; your visit is only added to the anonymous totals.

Cookies

Visitors get no cookies, and nothing is saved on your device. That is why there is no cookie banner. The only cookie on this site is one secure login cookie (HttpOnly) for the channel owner’s private stats page; it is set only after the owner logs in with a password. If someone tries that login, a scrambled form of their network address is kept for one day only, to block password guessing.

Calculators

The EMI, salary, SIP and budget calculators work entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are never sent to us or saved. We only count that a calculator was used (e.g. “EMI calculator used once”).

Hosting and other services

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles your network address to deliver the page and protect the site, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free page counter. Links to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp take you to those apps, which have their own privacy policies.

What we never do

• ಡೇಟಾ ಮಾರಲ್ಲ, ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಕೊಡಲ್ಲ · we never sell, rent or share this data
• ಜಾಹೀರಾತು ಟ್ರ್ಯಾಕಿಂಗ್ ಇಲ್ಲ · no advertising trackers, no fingerprinting for ads
• ಹೆಸರು, ಫೋನ್, ಇಮೇಲ್ ಕೇಳಲ್ಲ · we never ask for your name, phone number or email on this site

The anonymous counts are kept only to show the channel team which pages, videos and checklists help most. Only the Baduku Lekka team can see them.
